3Rivers Federal Credit Union
3Rivers is a federally regulated credit union: real member data, enterprise systems, and compliance obligations, staffed by people who had been doing data, AI, and finance work for years. I spent a summer there as a Business Intelligence intern, working close to the data layer on protected systems.
It was also the room where I was the least experienced person present. I spent it asking questions, absorbing how experienced practitioners scope problems and handle data, and carrying what I learned directly into the internship I was running in parallel that same summer.

Mortgage Inquiry Intelligence Report
Delivered in Power BI. Joined SavvyMoney mortgage alerts with member and loan officer data across three enterprise systems (Alkami, Exasol, network files), cleaning and reconciling mismatched schemas in Power Query, normalizing SSN fields and identifiers. I set up meetings with the mortgage team to learn what would make it genuinely valuable to them, then took their feedback and iterated, building a tool they'd actually want to use, giving officers early visibility into members shopping for a mortgage.
